Executive Team

Kevin Ross and Greg Davies set up Amoco as an investment business focused on Owner Managed Businesses in the UK.

Together they combine considerable experience of commercial and professional services businesses.

Kevin qualified as a solicitor in 1998 and shortly became a partner in the well know Liverpool Law Firm, Malcolm J Ross. In 2008 the firm merged with Brown Turner and he has since been a partner and director in the merged firm Brown Turner Ross. 

Kevin has over 25 years experience of dealing with a variety of legal and business issues and specialises in property law. He has obtained vital experience of dealing with corporate and property transactions and has a practical handle on the issues involved in company acquisitions. 

Kevin has an extensive group of services to call upon and in particular contacts within the financial sector to enable acquisitions of companies to be financed at the very highest of levels.

Greg Davies

Greg retired from professional sport in his mid 20’s due to injury. He briefly went into sales before becoming a property developer and subsequently acquiring a property portfolio. 


In 1999 he became a Founding Director of a vehicle after sales support company. Greg was the Managing Director of the company and acquired accreditation’s for Rolls Royce, Bentley, McLaren and Jaguar Land Rover to make it a success before selling his shareholding in 2018. 


Greg has nearly 30 years experience in various business market places and can count on a strong network of business colleagues from other sectors to achieve further success.

Non-Executive Team

Kevin and Greg are, in turn, supported by a strong team of Non-Executive advisors who are very experienced in the processes of acquiring Owner Managed Businesses.  They support the Board with advice on matters such as relations with vendors, deal structuring, finance and legal to enable and support fast, efficient and effective deal making.

Guy’s personal experience of acquiring Owner Managed Businesses is extensive, having worked on over 150 deals and acquiring revenues of his own business portfolio of over £20m in the process.

He also advises and consults on both acquisitions and business sales for other entrepreneurs and has experience of a very wide range of business sectors and deal structures including hedge funds, venture capital, private equity and commercial debt and finance.

In addition to growth by acquisition, Guy has also built three separate businesses from scratch to over 7 figures in sales so he understands in detail the challenges and effort that owner managers put into their businesses.
